Another day at the plant

CASEE Food Science students have begun to plant the organic garden on the east side of the campus. They grouped up and claimed a row to plant vegetables of their choosing. Each group researched several different crops learning when and how to grow them. They first conducted experiments on who the plants responded to different growing conditions and when they were finished the plants that grew well went into the ground. Our Juniors will continue to tend their crops as they develop a business plan centered around profiting from the crops they have chosen to plant.
