CASEE offers half-day curriculum blocks designed for each grade level to ensure that CASEE students are on a comparable academic track to their counterparts at the high schools. Each block includes a core Lab Science class and related Career & Technical Education (CTE) as well as an English class that teaches the same content as the high school but utilizes literature and writing assignments that connect to the science and CTE material. Some courses also provide the opportunity to earn free college credits with no change in content.

CASEE 1

Lab Science: Biology*, the study of life! Including the cell, physiological processes essential for life and human anatomy.

*Students can earn 5 free college credits in Biology through the College in the High School program and a partnership with Central Washington University

CTE: Natural Resources, how can we protect the resources that we utilize.

Honors English I

CASEE 2

Lab Science: Environmental Science*, evaluating the health of our planet by investigating earths systems from soil to sky and the numerous interactions between them.

*Students can earn 10 free college credits in Environmental Science through the College in the High School program and a partnership with Central Washington University

CTE: Forestry (Semester 1) & Wildlife* (Semester 2), learn the industry practices used to manage our forests and analyze dynamic wildlife populations

*Students can earn 5 free college credits in Wildlife through the College in the High School program and a partnership with the University of Washington

Honors English II

CASEE 3

Lab Science: Chemistry, explore the world of elements, molecules and chemical reactions in this lab based course.

CTE: Agroecology, study the future of food production in this project based course where ecological principles meet modern agriculture.

English III (American Literature)

CASEE 4

Lab Science: Microbiology, students learn to grow, analyze and control microbial cultures.

CTE: Biotechnology, learn about microbes, DNA & protein analysis and genetic engineering in this project based lab course.
