CASEE

7th & 8th Grade Forestry Field Trips

Several middle schools from around the district visit the CASEE experimental forest to collect data on forest health. They return to the classroom to analyze their data and report on how human management strategies have shaped the environment. Research suggests that project based learning leads to the greatest understanding and retention of classroom content. CASEE hopes to facilitate an increase in project based learning throughout the Battle Ground School District.
