COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR CASEE STUDENTS

Each semester, CASEE students are expected to perform several hours of community service, 7.5 hours or more off campus and 15 hours on campus per semester. On-campus work occurs every Wednesday for an average of an hour, where students help maintain the CASEE campus.

Their duties consist of:
  • Gardening

  • Pruning

  • Trail maintenance

  • Any other task required

Their efforts keep the CASEE campus looking immaculate and clean so that         it’s welcoming to members of the community and continues to be a good             learning environment for students, whether they are grade schoolers in a field      trip or highschoolers enrolled at CASEE.

The laborious and instructive service not only teaches different hands-on skills     to maintain the environment, it also shows students how to use teamwork         to solve a variety of difficult issues.
